I offer private and group instruction in secular mindfulness for stress reduction and personal inquiry.
Mindfulness is a deep training in a particular way of paying attention.
The clear seeing cultivated through mindfulness strengthens our inner confidence, clarity and compassion.
Based on the work of Jon Kabat-Zinn, secular mindfulness combines traditional wisdom with modern psychology and neuroscience. Private mindful inquiry is a collaboration, with an emphasis on psycho-education and daily life. Bringing awareness and compassion to our lives is always helpful; in times of transition or uncertainty, mindfulness offers tools for responding to the ten thousand joys and sorrows, with grace and wisdom.

Weekly mindfulness meditation groups offer guided and silent practice followed by tea and reflections. They are freely offered. Additionally, I hold workshops, classes and retreats throughout the year.

Weekly Group Mindfulness Meditation at MVWC
- Open to all
- some meditation experience is recommended
- Mondays 6:30 – 8pm
- Fridays 4 - 5:30 pm
