I have been providing services as a counselor in the Methow Valley since 2011 and consider it an honor to come alongside individuals and couples who are seeking change - those desiring to move from "stuck" places or to shift unhelpful repeating patterns.
I aspire to be compassionate, respectful and to foster a relationship where my clients feel genuinely seen, heard and understood.
I deeply listen, offering a safe and confidential space where personal issues can be worked through.
I offer more perspectives, insights and tools for life gained where the painful events of life can be gently healed, allowing those afflicted to come to terms with.
Life and relationships can be difficult and painful at times. It is also during these times that we have an opportunity to learn and grow.
When working with individuals and couples, I draw from a number of clinical approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Attachment Theory, Trauma Models and Developmental Models.
I have received advanced training in Lifespan Integration, a gentle somatic (body-based) therapy used to deal with trauma and personal identity/core strengthening.
I have also completed Level 1 training through The Couple's Institute in the Developmental Model of Couple's Therapy, which integrates Attachment Theory, Differentiation Theory and Neuroscience.
If you are seeking a safe and compassionate place to explore areas of concern in your life, I invite you to contact me directly at 509-341-4487.
